# Spintoon — Quick Start Spintoon lets you draw animations by controlling time while you draw. ## Drawing Just draw — by default **AutoFlow** is on, so time advances automatically while your pen is down. Lift the pen and time stops. The speed shown on the wheel (e.g. 1.0x) controls how fast time flows. ## Time Wheel The circle on the left is your time position. Touch it to pause playback and scrub time manually — drag up to go forward, down to go back. The closer to the center you grab, the faster it moves. ## Controls Around the Wheel Buttons are arranged like a clock: **Play/Pause** at 3 o'clock starts animation playback. **AutoFlow** at 4 o'clock toggles automatic time flow while drawing. **Speed** buttons at 1 and 2 adjust playback/drawing speed. **Undo/Redo** at 9 and 10. **Rewind** at 11:30 jumps to the start. **Resize** at 5:30 and 6:30 changes wheel size. **Move** at 8 lets you drag the wheel to a comfortable spot. ## Tools Panel (Right Side) The vertical panel on the right has your drawing tools. **Pencil** is the default draw tool. **Clock** is Time Shift — tap a stroke then drag up/down to move it earlier or later in the animation. Below the tools: brush size buttons, color palette (drag your finger across to pick), and a preview circle showing current brush. ## Presets The three squares at the top of the tools panel are brush presets. **Long-press** to save your current color and size. **Tap** to instantly switch to that preset. ## Color Picker Touch anywhere in the color grid and drag — a preview bubble follows your finger showing the color at your current brush size. Release to select. ## File Menu Tap the Spintoon logo in the top-left corner. **New** creates a blank project. **Open** loads a .spintoon file. **Save** exports your project with all stroke data. **Export GIF** renders the animation. **Export Process** creates a timelapse of your drawing process followed by the final animation. ## Touch Drawing The finger icon in the top-right toggles whether touch input draws. Turn it off when you want to use fingers only for the time wheel. ## Tips You can draw during playback — strokes land on whatever frame is currently showing. Use Play + drawing for loop-style animation. The wheel and tools panel can both be repositioned by activating their move buttons.
